Behind-the-Wheel Instructors

What You'll Do

  • Deliver engaging, hands-on driving lessons in real-world traffic conditions.
  • Teach safe driving techniques and build student confidence behind the wheel.
  • Personalize your teaching approach to each student's needs and learning style.
  • Communicate progress clearly with students and families.
  • Maintain a safe, encouraging, and professional learning environment.

Requirements

To qualify, applicants must:

  • Pass an FBI/BCI background check
  • Have 2 points or fewer on their driver's license over the last 3 years
  • Have no history of license suspension
  • Have held a valid driver's license for 5+ years
  • Possess strong, safe driving skills

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience teaching, coaching, or training (adult learners a plus)
  • Patient, calm, and supportive with students of all skill levels
  • Knowledge of traffic laws-or a willingness to learn them
  • Passion for student success and safe driving practices

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with diverse learners
  • Excellent communication skills with both students and parents
